Job Summary: As a Warehouse Worker at Kolay Manufacturing, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the efficiency of our manufacturing facility. You will undertake various warehouse tasks, including boxing, packaging, and handling materials. Physical strength is essential as this position requires lifting heavy loads, up to 50 plus pounds, to support our facility’s smooth operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Material Handling and Packaging: – Receive incoming materials and products, ensuring accurate counts and conducting quality checks. – Professionally package finished SPC flooring products following established guidelines and standards.

2. Order Fulfillment: – Collaborate in fulfilling customer orders by accurately picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment. – Maintain precise documentation for all orders to facilitate smooth shipment processes.

3. Inventory Management: – Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure efficient access and stock rotation. – Conduct regular stock checks and promptly report any discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.

4. Equipment Operation: – Skillfully operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safety and efficiency. – Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.

5. Safety and Compliance: – Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines to promote a secure working environment. – Comply with Kolay Manufacturing’s policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety and responsibility.

6. Cleaning and Organizing: – Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area at all times. – Proactively maintain workspaces to be free from debris and hazards.

7. Team Collaboration: – Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to achieve production targets. – Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize workflow.

8. Continuous Improvement: – Provide valuable insights and suggestions to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity. – Actively participate in team meetings to discuss ideas and implement process enhancements.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– While previous warehouse experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

– Possess the physical capability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 plus pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.

– Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

– Prior experience operating forklifts is beneficial; willingness to undergo training is welcomed.

– Demonstrate keen attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

Salary: $14.00 – $16.00 per hour
